I just watched your testimony Jimmie on TBN. It seems that my own situation concerning a somewhat similar story you shared, is knocking on my heart's door once again. My mother told me 2 months before her death 12 years ago that my biological father was another man. She was married to my father, far away from her home state and family and on a lonely night when he was yet again on another business trip, she met a man and had an affair with him. I know the similarity with your story stops there, I am not trying to put your story in the same category as mine at all.
She brought me to him when I was 9 mos. old to prove to him that I was indeed his biological daughter.
Well, he completely rejected her and me, and she never saw him again. My mother was an alcoholic and projected a lot of her shame and guilt, and anger upon me throughout my life, which only until her revelation, did I realize why.
She told me his name, and after some searching, I know some more things about him. I am asking for prayers for wisdom as to what to do, as far as contacting him. I have been so hesitant to do this, because of fear and fear of rejection. Both of my parents are passed away, and as long as I am not rejected again, it would be a miracle of God to know this man as my father. He is a jewish man also, which makes no difference, only in that God loves him and wants him to come to know him as his Yeshua, which I pray for as well.
Thank you for your prayers of wisdom as to know what to do in this situation.

Thank you Jimmie, Sherri, Jason, Amanda & Jessica! & Thank you Jo for your posting. You have encouraged me so very much. My father divorced me at the age of 10 when my mom divorced him. He lived 20 minutes away and never came to see me with the exception of maybe four times that I can recall. One of those times was when I was 12 and at Christmas he took my brothers and me to shop for a gift and I picked out twin cabbage patch dolls. My daddy came back into my life when I needed him the most. I became pregnant with twins at 19. He's been there every since. The twins are almost 19 now. God is a restorer. He turns the hearts of the fathers to the children. Even after he came back into my life and was there all the way for the twins, I had to go through the process of accepting him for who he is, forgiving him for not being there and loving and honoring him which took about 7 years to purge my self of all the pain. I thought that once he was back in my life, everything would be perfect. But it wasn't. I had to learn to let go, accept, forgive, honor and love him. God turns the hearts of the children to the fahters. Now, if I don't go and see him at least twice a month and call him at least once a week, he feels I don't love him. He still lives 20 minutes away. I love my daddy and I will honor my daddy! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! for sharing your story!!! I can't wait to find out more information!!!

Your story is so incredible! Even as I watch you tonight on TBN, as everyone else tears are streaming. You are so right, God wants to reconcile every area in our lives! My husband has a son that he has no contact with and has never had. He just never speaks on him. I beleive that he has a longing for him. I beleive that guilt of not being there has created so many silent issues in him. I ask that you and your family would agree in prayer with me for total reconciliation. As your daughter is, his son is a grown man. My husband never knew his father and his son has never known his father. But I believe our Heavenly Father is longing to restore each and every single one of us. Thank you for your transparency, thank you for your story. And please let your family know that I beleive that God has elevated you all in this season to be an example to all of us of the power of God's love! Like a well intended symphony, I know your family will make beautiful music together for the Lord!
